It's being asked on the listserves. And Monserrat College of Art has an answer for successful virtual internships. Regarding Second Life, Joan Milnes, the Director of the Office of Internships and Career Services, said that the, "same Learning Agreement that is used for "non-virtual" internships was completed by the supervisors and students" and that she "made a virtual site visit with the supervisor’s and student’s avatars in Second Life . . . The goals in the Learning Agreement were the focus . . ."Anyone for THAT type of site visit??
